Local Payment Systems for Central Amusement Gorky Park in Kharkiv, Ukraine

Kharkiv Central Park occupies an area of 130 hectares. There are more than 50 modern attractions, a park cinema, a children’s railroad, a cable car, sports grounds and much more. The park is visited by more than 300,000 visitors a week.

In 2012, a new amusement park in Kharkov was reconstructed, where RTS Company in cooperation with LOT Group implemented a fare payment system. The amusement park system uses contactless, reusable proximity proximity cards. It is equipped with a real-time database server, POS-terminals for card sales, 34 turnstiles-tripods Castle manufactured by LOT Group. All turnstiles are installed in the open air and work without fail in difficult weather conditions.
